Vendor Selection

Our Code of Business Conduct (COBC) serves as our ethical compass for the commitment we make to our stakeholders, customers and one another to do what’s right. It applies to our directors, employees, customers and business partners, including independent contractors, vendors and suppliers. We select vendors according to product specification, order placements, terms & specifications. We have an internal assessment for vendors to help us choose vendors who have the right economic situation and strengths. We have more than 85 certified efficient factories. Our factories are compliant with standards such as ISO, SA 8000, WRAP,VF ,WALMART COSTOCO OEKO TEX, BSCI, DISNEY, SEDEX, GOTS and REACH. Most of our suppliers have their own knitting, dyeing, printing and embroidery.

Sourcing

The core art of the trade lies in sourcing, ie. the process of finding dependable supplying sources of goods. The Udhayam Fashions assists the buying agents to interact and establish business with sources providing products, and also aims on keeping its members, versed with the nuances of strategic sourcing and apprise them about any recent developments in the industry.

Sampling

We offer wide range of knitted and woven promotional samples in Kids wear, Men’s wear, and Ladies wear, in all categories according to the latest trend of the fashion industry. We will make samples as specifications given by the customer in correct colour in right fabric with all value added works and our innovative creation based on fashion trend in the global market.

Manufacturing

PP (Pre-Production) samples will be sent to clients before to start the production of each style. T&A Plan (Time and Action) Plan will be sent to clients for every style to follow and maintain as per Plan. FBP staffs will be closely following with factories every day to make sure that Production is as per Terms. If there are any deviations, we will bring it to clients with our FEEDBACK & SOLUTIONS. Each and every day, the production status will be updated to clients in our Master File & in a Specified Format.

Price Negotiation

Price negotiation is one of our key strength. We are transparent in Pricing and give ideas for our clients to help achieve competitive prices. We always take a balanced stand between our clients and vendors and workout a successful pricing strategy. Prices from vendor factories will be cross checked by Udhayam Fashions, if prices are expensive as per our internal assessment we will have a discussion with high level management to help vendors meet our internal targets. We pay extra care on maintaining accuracy and competency when it comes to price negotiation.

Order Management

As the name suggests itself, order management encompasses all the administrative aspects of a business between buying agents and international parties. The Udhayam Fashions assists the buying agents in providing the right documentation guidelines which will mitigate any risks even for their sourcing partners/vendors/suppliers in addition to mitigating any risks for them.

Quality Assurance

Udhayam Fashions strives to work on customer quality standards, and when not available, works to self-set standards which have been established through years of experience. Our Quality control procedure includes inspections at various stages, starting with the raw material at the site through to the final inspection, and includes regular in-line inspections as well. We also assist manufacturers to implement and reinforce their own quality systems. With Udhayam Fashions support, conformity to contract specifications is monitored independently. Corrective actions, when necessary, are initiated at the factory floor – thereby maximising efficiency. We are committed to customer satisfaction, by ensuring that the goods ordered are delivered on time that meets or exceeds required quality standards and correct quantity.

Logistics

We being a established buying house, do realize the significance of customers time bound requirements of merchandise. Taking care of the same we emphasize on effecting deliveries well within the time. We have long standing relations with clearing, forwarding and shipping agencies. These agencies are dexterous in the documentation work and have good arrangements for lifting the goods from the warehouse& off loading the same at the relevant shipping points. They undergo all the clearing formalities and ensure those packages are intact and wholly and safely loaded for shipment.
